All Sizes Family Clothing Swap, Sherwood, October 22nd

It only happens twice a year!  Women, Men and Kids… All Sizes…come to the FREE Clothing Exchange at Countryside Community Church, 18810 S.W. Kruger Road, Sherwood, Saturday October 22nd at @ 10:00 am. 

Bring any gently worn clothing items to exchange that you or your loved ones no longer wear. Beginning at 10 a.m. everyone will be released to look through all the clothing (there will be children’s, men’s and women’s categories) and take whatever they would like. All leftover clothing at the end of the hour will be donated to local non-profit organizations to help clothe others in the surrounding communities as well as our own.

This is a great way to share resources with others in our community, especially children’s clothing as children grow in and out of clothing so quickly, and it’s a great way to get some shopping in for yourself without having to spend a penny!

Here’s the free swaps we know about so far in October!

10/01/16    Women’s and Teens Size 0-12 Clothing Swap 6pm at the Rushing Water Yoga Studio in Downtown Camas WA.  This is a small/medium swap, so please pre-sort your clothes so they can be separated into piles, 0-5 and 6-12. Takes place the first Saturday of the month September through June (No swaps July and August).  Please RSVP to Dorothy at  clarkcountyclothingswap@gmail.com

10/02/16 Family All Size Clothing Swap (Beaverton) 7pm @ Adapt Training at 9923 SW Arctic Dr Beaverton, OR 97005. Bring your whole family!   Our swap is FREE, with no admission charge, no strings attached, and all remainders will be given away for free or to organizations that will not sell them but will give them away. 10/15/16 *NEW   Halloween and Holiday Costumes, NE Portland, 12 noon at 5311 NE 15th Avenue. If the October Halloween Costume swap goes well, costumes swaps might continue for any used costumes and fun accessories, items for theater, comic-con, dress up, retro parties, Renaissance faire, or anything odd and fun to wear because you live in Portland. 10/16/16  Size 10-14 Women’s Clothing Swap in SE Portland, 10:45am at the Jazzersize Fitness Center near 18th and SE Burnside.  Please e-mail Amy Alice at amyalice58@gmail.com to be put on the email list for her quarterly swaps.

10/21/16   Women’s Size Petite to Medium (approx 0-8)  Clothing Swap at People’s Food Co-op in SE Portland at 7pm.  Everyone who attends, please bring an extra bag for remainder donation.  Monthly on the third Friday.  If you’ve got other sizes, please take them to the correct swap for those sizes.  If they are torn/ripped, please offer them on freecycle.org. The last Friday of the month.  You can bring not only clothes but shoes and accessories and any other goodies that you want to pass on (such as books, jewelry, lotions, makeup, pens, arts and crafts and etc). If you know of a good organization that can use the leftover clothes or if you can take it with you please let me know. To RSVP (reserve your spot) contact Tanya at  Happyswap@hotmail.com

May 2016 Free Swaps

Several Women’s All-Size clothing swaps this month, a kids and maternity swap,  a family swap including MEN, women, kids, and teens, as well as several sized swaps this month. Spring cleaning is in the air!  Additional details about each swap are listed on this site about a week before the swap, so come back often (or add your name to the subscription list and have all the details sent to your inbox.)

October 2015 Free Swaps

BOO!  Time to freshen up your fashion – clear out your closets and storage of clothes in good condition that you don’t wear  (too small, too large, just aren’t ‘you’ anymore), wash them up, and bring them to a clothing/accessories swap!  Some swaps also accept costumes in their accessories area in October so you can do your Halloween swapping this month as well.
