Maternity and Baby Clothes through Kids Size 10 – Clothing and Accessories Swap!  Including baby and maternity accessories, books, and toys!

(NO REGULAR WOMEN’S CLOTHES)

Please bring things to swap AND/OR one or more non-perishable food items for the Oregon Food Bank. Of course, nobody will be turned away regardless of what you bring or don’t bring.

When: February 29th, 2pm-3pm.

Where: Hillsboro Presbyterian Church, 172 NE 32nd Ave, Hillsboro, OR 97124, USA

You may arrive as early as 1:40pm to set things out. However, WE ASK THAT ONCE YOU HAVE PLACED YOUR ITEMS, STEP OUT OF THE ROOM OR TO A DESIGNATED AREA UNTIL 2PM. We want everyone to have a fair chance at getting what ever comes and getting some nice things. You will NOT be allowed to create a stack of new finds prior to 2pm.

VOLUNTEERS WILL BE NEEDED TO:
1) Help set up tables and label them (around 12:30pm).
2) Help direct people as they come in and place items of those who come at the last minute. (These should be people who are there to give more than to receive items).
3) Pack up the left overs for donation (3-4pm)
4) Help put the tables away once the packing is done.
5) Take a load for donation.

Here are the details on what you can bring:

Bring gently-used gear and clothes: maternity and sizes premie up to size 10.
Items may include (but not limited to):
clothing
socks and tights
shoes
coats, hats, sunglasses and other accessories
cloth diapers and diaper covers or unused disposables that no longer fit your baby
maternity clothing, nursing bras (NO REGULAR WOMEN’S CLOTHES)
baby gear (blankets, strollers, carriers, slings, baby care items, legal carseats and furniture, etc.)
mama gear (nursing pillows, pumps, etc.)
toys
books (both for baby and parenting books)
games

It helps to sort your clothing beforehand in these categories:
• Newborn to 3 months
• 6-9 months
• 12 months

• 24 mo/2T

02/09/20 Family All Size Clothing Swap (Beaverton) THE SECOND SATURDAY IN FEBRUARY DUE TO THE SUPER BOWL. 7pm @ Adapt Training at 9923 SW Arctic Dr Beaverton, OR 97005. Bring your whole family!   Our swap is FREE, with no admission charge, no strings attached, and all remainders will be given away for free or to organizations that will not sell them but will give them away. Please bring extra bags to help haul out the left overs. Every 4th Sunday in People’s Food Co-op community room. Address: 3029 SE 21st ave Portland Arrive a few minutes early to start swapping at 7 pm. Rules: Bring clean clothes in good condition, size 14 and up. (There is a small size swap on the 3rd Friday at the same location) Do not take anything until the swap coordinator says GO Be kind and courteous! Do not sell the things you get at the swap. Please bring extra bags Bring a mirror if you have one! Please also consider volunteering! I need help bagging up left overs at the end and carrying them to my car. November 2019 Free Swaps

NO CAMUS SWAP IN NOVEMBER.  Also…updated venue/time/day. The  next Camus Women’s and Teens All Size Clothing and Small Household Stuff and book Swap will be December 21st, 3:15pm at the the Camas Library in Downtown Camas WA.  This is an All Size Women’s swap, so please pre-sort your clothes so they can be separated into piles small, medium, large, plus, and accessories. Also small household items and books. 11/09/19 Family Clothing Exchange (men, women, kids) (Sherwood) (Bi-yearly usually fall and spring) at Countryside Community Church, 18810 S.W. Kruger Road, Sherwood, 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Doors open at 9:45. Bring any gently worn clothing items to exchange that you or your loved ones no longer wear. Beginning at 10 a.m. everyone will be released to look through all the clothing (there will be children’s, men’s and women’s categories) and take whatever they would like. All of the leftover clothing at the end of the hour will be donated to local non-profit organizations to help clothe others in the surrounding communities as well as our own. (If you have a spare you can bring a can of food or non-perishable food item to be donated to the Willowbrook Food Bank.) This is a great way to share resources with others in our community, especially children’s clothing as children grow in and out of clothing so quickly, and it’s a great way to get some shopping in for yourself without having to spend a penny!  Paula Rummerfield or Kathie Bowdoin  Phone weekdays: 503-925-0689.

 

11/10/19 Family Clothing, Footwear, and Book Swap, 2-4pm at the Kenton Church 2115 N Lombard street Portland OR 97217, in the basement. All sizes of men’s, women’s, and children’s clothing will be exchanged. No donation is required in order to receive clothing, but feel free to bring clothing and shoes in good condition to swap. If you preserve, pickle, bake, brew, extract honey from hives or create cheese from curd, grow a green garden or forage forest floors…bring your goodies to swap and share!
