Family Clothing and Stuff Swap for kind Men, Women, Kids – everyone is invited!

Day: Saturday January 5th 2019

Place:  the Garden Home Community Library Annex, 7475 SW Oleson Rd, Portland, OR 97223. GHCL Annex (map)

Time: 1pm-3pm

Celebrate the new year by clearing out the clutter!  Bring clothing for men, women, and kids…as well as household items, books, small furniture and electronics to swap.  Items should be in clean and usable condition.

All leftovers will be donated to charities including the Union Gospel Mission, Cat Adoption Team, and more.  Please take what you will personally use or give as gifts. Here’s other free swap tips.

January 2019 Free Swaps – including a NEW Women’s 14-1X swap!

Hi Swappers!  Happy New Year!  Here’s the swaps we know about so far for January 2019.  We’ve got a NEW SWAP – WOMEN’S SIZE 14-1X!  We’ve also got an heirloom seed swap, a family swap for men, women, kids, and babies, a kids and maternity clothing swap, swaps that include toys or stuff, several women’s sized clothing swaps and more! If you know of any additional free swaps that fit our criteria, please let me know and I’ll add them to this list.

01/05/19  Women’s and Teens All Size Clothing and Small Household Stuff Swap 6pm at the Rushing Water Yoga Studio in Downtown Camas WA.  This is now an All Size swap, so please pre-sort your clothes so they can be separated into piles small, medium, large, plus, and accessories. Also small household items. Takes place the first Saturday of the month September through June (No swaps July and August).  Please RSVP to Dorothy at  clarkcountyclothingswap@gmail.com

01/13/19 Family Clothing, Footwear, and Book Swap Sunday January 13th, 2-4pm at the Kenton Church 2115 N Lombard street Portland OR 97217, in the basement. Come join the fun! Everyone is welcome. All sizes of men’s, women’s, and children’s clothing will be exchanged. No donation is required in order to receive clothing, but feel free to bring clothing and shoes in good condition to swap. We also are swapping BOOKS! So make sure to bring in all the books you are finished with, and swap them for some great cool weather/snuggle-up reads! 01/18/19   Women’s Size Petite to Medium (approx 0-8)  Clothing Swap at People’s Food Co-op in SE Portland at 7pm.  Everyone who attends, please bring an extra bag for remainder donation.  Monthly on the third Friday.  If you’ve got other sizes, please take them to the correct swap for those sizes.  If they are torn/ripped, please offer them on freecycle.org. NEW! 01/27/19 Women’s Large Clothing Swap (approximately size 14-1X) Please bring clothes in good condition (no rips or stains) and accessories such as jewelry, shoes, hats, belts, purses. Please bring extra bags to help haul out the left overs. Every 4th Sunday in People’s Food Co-op community room. Address: 3029 SE 21st ave Portland Arrive a few minutes early to start swapping at 7 pm. Rules: Bring clean clothes in good condition, size 12 and up. (There is a small size swap on the 3rd Friday at the same location) Do not take anything until the swap coordinator says GO Be kind and courteous! Do not sell the things you get at the swap. Please bring extra bags Bring a mirror if you have one! Please also consider volunteering! I need help bagging up left overs at the end and carrying them to my car. 01/27/19 Sandy Seed Swap (Sandy Oregon), Seedy Sunday – A seed swap.  Sunday January 27th 2019, 1:30-3:00pm. Sandy Public Library, 38980 Proctor Blvd. Sandy OR 97055. All gardeners are welcome to the Sandy Library’s 2nd annual Seed Swap! If you don’t have seeds to contribute this year, no worries. Our seed swap motto is “Bring what you have and take what you need”. Starting a 1:30pm-3pm in the Sandy library Community Room, Seedy Sunday is an heirloom seed exchange for everyone. Bring your organic, non-GMO, non-hybrid seeds to share. It is not required that you donate seeds to be able to participate. However, please only take the amount of seeds that you actually will use in your garden so there will be plenty for everyone. Seedy Sunday provides the opportunity to come together and exchange our non-GMO, non-hybrid heritage varieties of vegetable and flower seeds. All Size Clothing, Toys, Books, And Stuff Swap, SW Portland, July 17th

Clothing and Stuff Swap for All People, All Ages, All Sizes, All Genders (Men, Women, Kids, babies…in a child-friendly venue).

Declutter your home! Bring gently used items you no longer want and find new to you treasures. Items can include clothes, books, music, housewares, children’s toys, small electronics, small furniture.

*For each item you bring, you get to take one item.

What:  Clothing and Stuff swap!

Who: All People!  (This is a kid-friendly venue, so kids are welcome, too).

When: Tuesday July 17th, 6:30pm-8pm.

Where: Garden Home Community Library Annex, 7306 Southwest Oleson Road Portland OR 97223.

Garden Home Community Library is hosting the annual December Free Clothing and Stuff Swap in SW Portland/Garden Home.  Get ready for the New Year and potentially find holiday gifts!

Our Free Swap features all sizes of clothing for men, women, and children…plus household items, small appliances & electronics, books, jewelry, small furniture, games, holiday decor, and other small items.  (We are unable to accept large furniture or appliances.) Items should be clean and giftable.

Looking to refresh your record collection and pass on some old musical favorites for others to enjoy? Join us for our first ever Record Swap! This is not a sale, but a one-to-one swap exchange. We’ll provide tickets for each of the records you bring to trade; each ticket gets you one new-to-you record. All ages of music enthusiasts welcome.

12/02/17 Community Potluck/Brunch at Yonder House in NE Portland, (usually first and third Saturdays) starting at 11:00am. Bring food to share, eat, enjoy yourself, and meet like-minded kind people!  Contact Bert Fitzgerald 574-213-5468 for more information. 12/02/17 Baby and Little Kids Clothes, and Women’s All Size Clothing (including Maternity) Swap, 10:15am- 11:30am at the Midland Library in the large meeting room. Please bring baby/children’s/women’s clothing and gear from newborn through size 5 plus women’s and maternity. It helps to bring clothes sorted by size so it is easier to put things out. All are welcome even if you don’t have much to donate, just please only take what you will use. Please arrive by 10:15am to sort what you are donating, then we swap from 10:30-11:30, then start cleaning up.  If a few people are able to stay to help bag up the leftovers, I would appreciate it. All leftover items will be donated to Northwest Children’s Outreach (kids/maternity) and Rahab’s Sisters (women’s clothes). 12/03/17 Family All Size Clothing Swap (Beaverton) 7pm @ Adapt Training at 9923 SW Arctic Dr Beaverton, OR 97005. Bring your whole family – men, women, and kids!   Our swap is FREE, with no admission charge, no strings attached, and all remainders will be given away for free or to organizations that will not sell them but will give them away. All Size Men, Women, Kids Clothing and Stuff Swap, August 26th

Garden Home Community Library is hosting a free clothing and stuff swap and we’d like to invite everyone to enjoy the fun!

You can bring all sizes of clothing by and for men, women, and children…plus household items, small appliances & electronics, books, jewelry, small furniture, games, holiday decor, and other small items.  (We are unable to accept large furniture or appliances.)

Location:  Garden Home Community Library ANNEX at 7306 SW Oleson Rd, Portland 97223  (in the Garden Home Marketplace.  2 doors down from the Baskin-Robbins.)

Date & Time:  Saturday August 26th.  Doors open at 9:45 am, swap takes place from 10am-noon.

Swap is always FREE.  Bring things in good condition you no longer need/use/love, and leave with some great new finds!

We give clothing remainders to a women and children’s shelter.  Leftover household items will be donated to organizations that will give them away, not sell them.
