Family Clothing/ Footwear/ and Book Swap, North Portland, July 14th

Family Clothing, Footwear, and Book Swap Sunday July 14th, 2-4pm at the Kenton Church 2115 N Lombard street Portland OR 97217, in the basement.

Come join the fun! Everyone is welcome! All sizes of men’s, women’s, and children’s clothing will be exchanged. No donation is required in order to receive clothing, but feel free to bring clothing and shoes in good condition to swap.

We also are swapping BOOKS! So make sure to bring in all the books you are finished with, and swap them for some great summer reads!

Here’s the July 2019 Free Swaps we know about so far.  Women’s clothes swaps in various sizes, a book swap, a small stuff swap, a swap for all sizes of men/women/kids, a food and story swap; July is a good month to declutter your closets AND get new-to-you items for some summer fun!  Let us know if you have a swap you’d like us to add!

07/19/19  Women’s Size Petite to Medium (approx 0-8)  Clothing Swap at People’s Food Co-op in SE Portland at 7pm.  Everyone who attends, please bring an extra bag for remainder donation.  Monthly on the third Friday.  If you’ve got other sizes, please take them to the correct swap for those sizes.  If they are torn/ripped, please offer them on freecycle.org. 07/26/19 Women’s All Size Clothing and Stuff Swap in Happy Valley, 7pm at New Seasons market on Sunnyside in the yoga studio/conference room. The last Friday of the month.  Bring all sizes of women’s clothes, shoes, and accessories …plus any other small goodies that you want to pass on (such as books, jewelry, lotions, makeup, pens, arts and crafts and etc). If you know of a good organization that can use the leftover clothes or if you can take it with you please let me know. This is a self-hosted swap, where women bring their things, lay them out, and when they leave if any of their items are still there, they take their own items home and bring them back to the next swap. 07/28/19 Women/Femm’s Large and Plus Clothing Swap (size 14 – and up) Please bring clothes in good condition (no rips or stains) and accessories such as jewelry, shoes, hats, belts, purses. Please bring extra bags to help haul out the left overs. Every 4th Sunday in People’s Food Co-op community room. Address: 3029 SE 21st ave Portland Arrive a few minutes early to start swapping at 7 pm. Rules: Bring clean clothes in good condition, size 14 and up. (There is a small size swap on the 3rd Friday at the same location) Do not take anything until the swap coordinator says GO Be kind and courteous! Do not sell the things you get at the swap. Please bring extra bags. Bring a mirror if you have one! Please also consider volunteering! I need help bagging up left overs at the end and carrying them to my car. Or if you are willing to do the donation run, to your car. Also we will need to sweep the room afterwards. At this time, this is a self-hosted swap.  Women of all sizes choose to arrive, swap clothing and goodies, and when they leave take any of their ‘not chosen’ remainders back to donate to a nonprofit of their choice (or bring back to the next swap).

Maternity Baby and Child Clothing, Toy and Accessory Swap, NW Portland, June 8th

Bring gently-used gear and clothes: maternity and sizes premie up to size kids 10.

Where: PCC Rock Creek Campus, 17705 NW Springville Rd, Portland, OR 97229, USA

When: Saturday June 8th 2019, 2pm-3pm

This event will be at PCC Rock Creek in the Event Center in Building 9. Parking at PCC is FREE on Saturdays. The gravel parking lot just passed building 9 is the closest place to park. This website has a good map of the campus building locations:

Please bring things to swap AND/OR one or more non-perishable food items (to go to a food pantry) as your “entry ticket”. Of course, nobody will be turned away.

You may arrive as early as 1:40pm to set things out. However, WE ASK THAT ONCE YOU HAVE PLACED YOUR ITEMS, STEP OUT OF THE ROOM UNTIL 2PM. We want everyone to have a fair chance at getting what ever comes and getting some nice things. You will NOT be allowed to create a stack of new finds prior to 2pm.

Women’s All Size Clothing, Books, and Small Household Stuff Swap, Camas, June 1st

Camas Women’s and Teens All Size Clothing, Books, and Small Household Stuff Swap is this Saturday June 1st  at 6pm!

Please tell all your friends and feel free to repost this!

Doors open at 5:45pm with swap starting promptly at 6pm.

First Saturday of every month (except July and August) at Rushing Water Yoga Studio in Downtown Camas. Get directions here.

Swap all your old, still in good condition, clothes, shoes and accessories! And books, or any other media, small household and kitchen stuff, too. Most anything that can be passed on to the homeless shelter and be useful to someone setting up a new home.

Bring what you can, take what you like.

Leftovers are donated to Share House (sharevancouver.org) and Dress for Success (dressforsuccess.org)

06/01/19  Women’s and Teens All Size Clothing and Small Household Stuff Swap 6pm at the Rushing Water Yoga Studio in Downtown Camas WA.  Please pre-sort your clothes so they can be separated into piles small, medium, large, plus, and accessories. 06/02/19 Family All Size Clothing Swap (Beaverton) 7pm @ Adapt Training at 9923 SW Arctic Dr Beaverton, OR 97005. Bring your whole family!  Our swap is FREE, with no admission charge, no strings attached, and all remainders will be given away for free or to organizations that will not sell them but will give them away. Bring gently-used gear and clothes: maternity and sizes premie up to size 10. There are no limits to how much to bring or take, we just ask that you take only what you need. Please bring something to carry home all of your new-to-you finds!
